Check out Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’s grand dinosaur fight

Dinosaurs fighting is a grand tradition of the Jurassic Park films, and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom will be no exception.

If Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom doesn’t find a way to have the classic T. Rex show up and show some of these young upstarts the door, we’ll honestly be a little disappointed. However, this fight between Blue and the Indoraptor might just make up for no T. Rex.

After all, as Chris Pratt’s Owen points out, this movie will take things off of the islands we’ve now spent several movies on, so the possibility of no T. Rex seems a bit higher than normal. (We do get to see her, though, roaring her defiance, in trailers.)

The latest TV spot, however, turns the focus on Blue. Honestly, though the first Jurassic World film tries to make sure she’s like her own character, Fallen Kingdom seems like it’ll really lean hard into it. On one hand, this seems like a way to differentiate the films from each other, by showing that dinosaurs and people really can get along, but we’re also dealing with a film that apparently has Dr. Ian Malcolm pointing out that dinosaurs could probably outlast people at this point.

What we’re saying is that seems like a bit of a disconnect.

Anyways, there is some cool dinosaur action in this TV spot, as we mentioned previously, and here’s a good look at it:

Hopefully, the cramped quarters won’t make the action more difficult to follow. It seems like we shouldn’t worry from the shots we see in this spot, but they could only make up a tiny bit of what we see in the final film.
