Starz’s The White Princess continuation, titled The Spanish Princess, is getting a Fantastic Beasts actor.

Daniel Cerqueira was one of many names announced connected to the latest Starz period production, The Spanish Princess. Deadline reports that he’s also going to be part of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.

The Spanish Princess is a continuation of The White Princess, which was a continuation of The White Queen. All productions have been adapted from Philippa Gregory’s novel series surrounding Elizabeth Woodville, Margaret Beaufort, Elizabeth of York, Henry VII, and Catherine of Aragon. The latest production is going to be based on the novel “The Constant Princess,” which is about Catherine of Aragon, wife of Arthur Tudor and later the first wife of Henry VIII of England.

Cerqueira, who at the time of writing this doesn’t show a connection to either this production or the Fantastic Beasts sequel on his IMDb profile, will play the Spanish ambassador to England, De Fuensalida. It’s not clear just how much of a role he’ll have in the production and who he will have more screentime with. As ambassador, he’ll likely share more time with King Henry VII of England rather than the Spanish princess, Catherine.

Cerqueira is better known for his roles of Dr. Markov in the latest season of Strike Back, Gordon in Doctor Foster, and Dr. Graves in The A Word.

Another connection to Fantastic Beasts is the lead in The Spanish Princess. Charlotte Hope has been cast in the role. While she’s best known for her role of Myranda in Game of Thrones, she also appeared in The Theory of Everything as Philippa Hawking, the sister of Stephen Hawking. Stephen Hawking was played by Eddie Redmayne, who stars as Newt Scamander in Fantastic Beasts. Here’s that quirky six degrees of separation.

Production for The Spanish Princess has now started.
