How is this show still going after 13 seasons?! Hopefully the powerful army of Supernatural fans don’t kill us for this one, but honestly, this show needs to end!

Most great shows are lucky to get maybe five or six seasons, and yet this one has more than a dozen. Unfortunately, that isn’t necessarily a good thing. Many dedicated fans have been dropping the series over the years after the show started going in way too many directions.

How many times can the same characters die, literally go to hell, and come back to life? How many storylines can they keep repeating until it becomes too much? The Winchester brothers have been through pretty much everything at this point, so why not end it properly instead of all the overkill?

Many fans felt the series should’ve ended after the fifth season. In fact, the show’s creator Eric Kripke originally intended for the story to span three seasons, then changed it to five. So by the fifth season, the story’s plot had run its course, and Kripke stepped down as the showrunner.

If they had ended on a high note after season 5, it could’ve left a great legacy. When they hit season 11, Supernatural became the longest-running American live-action fantasy TV series. They could’ve ended it there, finally, but nope, it’s still going.

It goes without saying that this show has a very powerful, dedicated fandom online, and clearly they don’t want to give the show up, but it is time to let it go!
