We cast Chris Hemsworth as the rest of the Avengers and it’s actually pretty perfect

Versatile actor Chris Hemsworth can play just about any role, so why not get him to play all the Avengers? We imagined what that could look like, and it’s glorious.

Even though Chris Hemsworth had a leading role in Avengers: Infinity War and starred in three of his own solo films as Thor, that’s just not enough Hemsworth for us. The world would be a better place with Chris in more roles.

For instance, Redditor Clue-West, found the most perfect photo of Chris looking as if he had taken on the role of Tony Stark. So we thought, what if Chris just played all the Avengers roles? Because, as another Redditor commented, “Chris Hemsworth should start his own Cinematic Universe where he plays all characters, villains and background extras.”

We’d definitely pay big money to see that movie happen, so here’s what a few of those roles could look like.

Tony Stark

This idea is courtesy of Clue-West over on Reddit. Chris has got the nice Tony Stark-style suit, a flashy watch, and the ever-so-necessary facial hair to pull off the look. Plus, showing off and greeting his fans is just kind of a Tony Stark thing to do.

Captain America

This may be Chris as Geroge Kirk from the 2009 Star Trek movie, but we have to have to admit, he’s giving off some strong Steve Rogers vibes here. Look at that pristine, military-like haircut and fitting blue suit. He’s a man who knows he’s in charge and ready to give orders. I salute you, new Cap!

Hulk

It’s no doubt that Chris Hemsworth knows how to get ripped. So much so, that he gives television’s Hulk, Lou Ferrigno, a run for his money. We’re sure with some computer-generated effects, we could get a larger, more intimidating Hemsworth Hulk. But this photo is all the evidence we need that he could make it work.

Bruce Banner

Ugh, look at how cute and nerdy and adorable he looks here. Although Chris played the air-headed assistant in the Ghostbusters reboot, he can still pull off the smarty pants look as Bruce Banner. If this man told me he had seven PhDs, I would not doubt him for one second.

Black Widow

Let’s face it, this is probably the closest we’ll get to seeing Chris in a Black Widow-like combat suit. His surfing outfit looks sleek enough to where he can do a couple of kicks and flips with ease. ScarJo better watch out!

Star-Lord

Not sure if we’ve ever seen Peter Quill coddle Rocket Racoon, but it could totally happen. Granted, this is a koala and not an alien raccoon-looking creature, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Is that Groot’s branch in the foreground?

Doctor Strange

If you don’t think Chris Hemsworth could pull off being a mystical, magical guy, think again. His ability to conjure his magical powers would be unmatched. Watch this clip, and tell us he wouldn’t make a perfect Sorcerer Supreme.

Loki

Speaking of magical beings, Chris seriously could have been Thor’s brother, Loki, based on how great he looks in this all-black suit. During auditions, Loki’s Tom Hiddleston actually auditioned to play the God of Thunder — so in another world, they totally could have swapped roles.

Peter Parker

We have to thank Saturday Night Live for us giving us this high school version of Chris Hemsworth. It doesn’t matter that he’s way past high school age, he looks as youthful as can be. If we can let Tobey Maguire play Spider-Man, we can let Chris Hemsworth play Spider-Man.

Nick Fury

There’s a particular instance in Thor: Ragnarok that automatically made Chris Hemsworth fit for playing Nick Fury. Did you notice? It’s the scene where he dons his new eyepatch. But if we’re going for characters with eyepatches, he also could play Thor’s father, Odin. We’re not putting a limit on how many eye-patched characters he could play.

Thor

Okay, we know that Chris Hemsworth already plays Thor. But Chris as the title character in The Huntsman was more like Thor than the actual Thor in his movies. Plus, look at his weapon! Wink, wink.

We’re hoping these roles will help Chris to have a full, long career as an Avenger for the rest of his life. Which Avenger would you like to see him be the most?
