15 Disney moms who deserve the spotlight on Mother’s Day

Perdita (101 Dalmatians)
She may be a dog, but Perdita is a true super mom. By the end of 101 Dalmatians, she literally has 101 children. Only 15 of them are biologically hers, but given the circumstances, she’s happy to take in the other 86 pups.
When her litter is kidnapped by Jasper and Horace, on the orders of Cruella De Vil, Perdita is obviously devastated. She knew from the start that Cruella was no one to be trifled with, and never trusted her.
Of course, Perdita’s willing to do anything to get her family back, including running halfway across London with her husband.
Eventually, the dogs find their way to the De Vil mansion, face to face with their children’s kidnappers. While Pongo handles Jasper, Perdita disposes of Horace (worth mentioning he’s the bigger of the two thugs).
After successfully freeing the pups, Pongo and Perdita lead them home. Getting across the country themselves was likely no easy task. But taking 101 puppies? Perdita must have had an unmatched patience level.
By the time they return home, she’s helped each and every one of the pups. It’s only fitting that she become their mother, and she knew that Roger and Anita would never reject the idea of taking them in.
