Two YouTubers are giving Hoda and Kathie Lee a run for their money with their show, This Might Get. If you’re not watching yet, here’s why you need to start!

If you don’t know Mamrie Hart and Grace Helbig, you must not be a child of the Internet.

The two best friends have been making videos on YouTube for years now, and are widely considered two of the most popular YouTubers among fans. Along with their other best friend, Hannah Hart, the trio are referred to as “The Holy Trinity” of YouTube.

Mamrie and Grace aren’t just YouTubers. They’ve both released best-selling books, and Mamrie co-wrote and co-starred in the movies Camp Takota and Dirty Thirty, both of which also starred Grace and Hannah. Now the duo is branching out with their own web show This Might Get, and it’s everything we would want in a series.

The duo describes their show as “as a cross between offbeat ’80s kids program Pee-wee’s Playhouse and the Today show’s Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford.” If that doesn’t appeal to you, here are some other reasons you definitely need to check out This Might Get ASAP!

Grace and Mamrie have the best chemistry

You can’t fake good chemistry, no matter how hard every morning talk show tries. If two people are fake laughing at each other’s cheesy, pre-written jokes, you can tell the difference. The great thing about Grace and Mamrie, however, is the fact that they are real-life BFFs.

They met years ago when they were both doing improv in New York City, and have been inseparable ever since. Grace was even instrumental in the production of Mamrie’s You Deserve A Drink videos for years. You could easily tell by hearing Grace’s not-so-subtle laughs behind the camera.

Those years of working together both on-screen and behind the scenes have made them the perfect partners in crime. They don’t have to rely on the script to make each other fake laugh — because they’re usually laughing for real! I mean how could you resist when you’re around these two funny ladies?

Speaking of jokes…

Mamrie’s bad Dad Jokes

Mamrie is a pun expert, there’s no question about it. If her library of You Deserve A Drink videos have taught us anything, it’s that she can make a pun out of anything. Sure, she sticks to a script, but we’ve seen enough interviews and videos (usually collabs with her besties Grace and Hannah), where the quick-witted Mamrie has a comeback at the drop of a hat.

The best thing about This Might Get is the editing. Specifically, the editing whenever Mamrie tells a bad pun or dad joke. Though we’re probably peeing our pants at home, whenever she drops one of her gems, the editors put loud boos in the background. Come on, they’re not that bad!

But all shade aside, Mamrie really is a comedy genius. Grace is hilarious too, in her own way, but Mamrie is truly one of a kind, and when you put the two of them together, it’s pure gold.

It’s actually informative (…sometimes)

Sure, This Might Get is hilarious and sometimes a little ridiculous in the best way. Mamrie and Grace have flossed each other’s teeth, dressed up as each other’s doppelgangers, and have tried to guess what was in their armpits (you read that right), but they do actually get serious sometimes.

Okay, they don’t get serious, but they try! And they’ve actually had a few really informative episodes. They got a crash course on etiquette by Real Housewives of Orange County star Heather Dubrow and a lesson on the flags of countries around the world, but the most informative episode had to be their Bitcoin special.

Like many of us, Grace and Mamrie still have no idea what Bitcoin really is, so they had an expert come in and teach them a thing or two about the cryptocurrency. In case you’re wondering, it didn’t go well. Still, you could tell the two comedians were genuinely trying to pay attention for once.

It feels real

If you’re a longtime fan of Mamrie and Grace from YouTube, you might remember Grace had her own talk show on E! back in 2015. Mamrie made several appearances, because like we said, the two are dynamite together, and they even landed some big name celebs like Hilary Duff, Jim Parsons, and The Rock.

The problem with the show, at least in our opinion, was that Grace didn’t quite seem like herself. She seemed a little more uncomfortable, and the comedy didn’t feel as natural. It was still funny, but not in the same way as This Might Get, and maybe that’s why it only lasted one season.

What we love about This Might Get is just how real it feels. Mamrie and Grace’s chemistry is undeniable, and they definitely seem to have more freedom to really do whatever they want. Their laughs are genuine, and their jokes seem a lot more natural.

There are episodes every day

Without a doubt, the best thing about This Might Get is that a new episode is uploaded every day. If you’re someone who binges the same handful of Mamrie and Grace collabs on YouTube on a regular basis, being able to watch these two hilarious people in a new video on a daily basis is truly a gift.

Like any other morning show, it’s the perfect way to start your day. Instead of sitting down for breakfast with Live! With Kelly and Ryan or Today, you can watch Grace and Mamrie make fools of themselves instead! What could be better?
