Who would have thought that the Harry Potter world could come in use in botany?

Well, Harry Potter fans were left screaming at a Who Wants to Be a Millionaire contestant who clearly didn’t know anything about the wizarding world?

Ask most Harry Potter fans and they’d be able to answer that without even seeing the multiple choice answers that popped up on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. Fans of the J.K. Rowling universe didn’t need to take Professor Sprout’s Herbology classes. They just had to know the name of one very special and heartbreaking character.

If you thought of “Lupin,” you would be 100% right. Honestly, the “wolf” part of the question would have given the answer right away. And many Harry Potter fans did get it right and took to Twitter to share their frustrations over the “ignorant muggle” contestant on the program. Oh, and he even ruled out the name, which made even more fans irate.

There were some who wouldn’t have been able to answer it off the bat and understandably so. Rowling has never mentioned—at least, not that I know of—where the name for Professor Remus Lupin came from. However, the minute the multiple choice answers came up, all the connections were made and fans were back to screaming the answer.

Thankfully, there were plenty of Harry Potter fans in the audience. When the contestant used his Ask the Audience lifeline, the majority gave him the name Rowling chose for her werewolf character.
