Taylor Swift Visits Fan in Phoenix Burn Unit
By Kara Johnson
Just days before the start of her Reputation Stadium Tour, Taylor Swift visited a young fan in the Phoenix burn unit who is struggling for severe burn injuries.
According to the Arizona Republic, the pop star took time out of her day to visit an 8-year old fan Isabella McCune. Swift showed up unannounced and surprised McCune who was planning on attending opening night of the tour. The singer stayed to visit with the young fan for about 20 minutes, signing autographs, and surprising her with a bag full of tour merchandise. McCune was, of course in shock when her favorite singer showed up.
Swift sat on the edge of her bed, getting as close as possible to McCune so she could snap photos and talk with her, letting her know that if McCune couldn’t come to her, Swift would make sure she would pay her a visit. The 8-year old fan told the pop star just how much her music keeps her calm, even on the worst of days.
After visiting and taking photos with McCune, her brother Zachary and the nurses in the room, Swift took time to sign the fans journal with a sweet message. And with that, we know this was the best day of McCune’s life and we wish her well wishes, hoping she can get to a Taylor Swift show soon. We wish you well, Isabella and a speedy recovery.
