Here’s how to dress your love like your Marvel crush. Superhero powers not included (they’re out of stock on Amazon).
For me, the most challenging part of watching Marvel movies is that I want to date all the characters. In Marvel movies, we watch superhumans and heroes, and sometimes, actual Gods. These characters put the rest of humanity to shame. How on earth are we supposed to love an average human when these babes are fighting bad guys right in front of us? Stan Lee, you’ve ruined our dating lives.
There is, however, a temporary way to solve this problem. Our alternative is to dress your significant other as your favorite Marvel character (because actual costumes should be reserved for say Halloween or cons). Sure, they may not be able to gather lightning from the sky or take down aliens in an iron suit, but we love them anyway.
There are some pretty creative ways you can help your S.O. embody the essence of our favorite superheroes. Below I’ve laid out different options as to how to dress your partner like your favorite Marvel hero. As we’ve seen, superheroes don’t wear their costumes every day either. Just don’t put your lover in a dangerous situation — they can’t actually defeat an invading alien army, and definitely don’t stand against Thanos. Now, meeting your parents… that’s a different story.
