Abbi Jacobson & Ilana Glazer

Two funny ladies for the price of one!

Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer are obviously best known for their hit Comedy Central TV show Broad City. The show is based on their real-life friendship, which helped make it feel realistic and just plain funny.

Broad City actually started out as a web series back in 2009, and it was a huge hit. They started garnering the attention of publications like Entertainment Weekly and The Wall Street Journal. That’s when Amy Poehler came into the picture. She loved the project and helped them shop around a pilot to make the leap from the web to TV screens.

With Broad City set to end after its fifth season, we can’t help but wonder… What will be next for Abbi and Ilana? We’re so used to seeing their madcap adventures on our screens, what would we do without them? Well, we think late-night would be the perfect place for them to land.

Abbi and Ilana are the coolest couple of girls in comedy. They managed to make Broad City a hit on their own terms. Plus, they instilled their own brand of feminism into every episode, while still being funny and without ever being preachy.

And they’ve landed guests for Broad City that we would never have expected, like Kelly Ripa, RuPaul (!!!!), and even presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. These two comedians got Hillary Freakin’ Clinton to appear on their show! Just think of who they could land if they had a late-night show.

Imagine a Kathie Lee and Hoda for the younger generation, and at night, where they can sip more than wine and get just a little wild. Wouldn’t that be fun? They could make Dirty Charades a regular segment, and we would be giggling forever.
