A fan recording from the set of Captain Marvel shows the titular hero and a seemingly unmenacing villain about to have one epic showdown.
Very little is known about the plot about 2019’s Captain Marvel so far. Still, we expect one cool fight scene based off of footage from a fan’s video from the set.
On Twitter, P.A. Casas shared a quick clip on Twitter of Brie Larson and another cast member on the set. The two are standing on top of a train on opposite sides, looking like they’re preparing for one heck of a showdown.
What’s interesting is Larson, as Captain Marvel, is in her super suit, but the guy on the opposite side of the train doesn’t seem to be wearing anything special. He kind of looks as normal as Ned Flanders from The Simpsons, wearing a sweater with a collared shirt underneath and some slacks.
Though it’s not certain who this character is, the folks at CBR.com mentioned that this normal-looking guy could, in fact, be a shapeshifter. It makes sense, given Captain Marvel is supposedly dealing with an alien war. That means there might be more to some everyday people in the movie than meets the eye.
Although not a surprise anymore, Lee Pace will reprise his (forgettable) role as Ronan from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1. It’s possible that not only will he play somewhat of a large role in the alien war, but he’ll help to bridge the gap between Captain Marvel and basically anything dealing with Thanos before the Infinity War (since Captain Marvel takes place in the ’90s). We’re just hoping this time around, he’s a bit more memorable.
Previously, more pictures from the set of Captain Marvel showed a very #ThrowbackThursday looking Nick Fury talking to Captain Marvel. You’ll notice that he has two eyes. And yes, he looks more like his character Jules from Pulp Fiction in that suit and tie.

Who do you think the mystery character on the train could be? We might find out when filming wraps and we finally get a trailer. But to know for sure, we can find out when Captain Marvel is set to be released March 8, 2019.
