The latest Harry Potter illustrated edition box set is to be made available in stores later this year leaving Potterheads wondering what to do.

The Harry Potter illustrated sets have taken off in a way that we didn’t expect. Obviously, they were going to do well, it is the Harry Potter fandom after all, but I don’t believe anyone expected them to do as well as they did.

The beautiful illustrations by Jim Kay have given the Harry Potter novels a new breath of life. A fresh look at our favorite novels have not only been a delight to existing fans but it has also brought in a whole new wave of fans as well.

Currently, the illustrated editions comprise of “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone,” “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets” and “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.” Currently, you can only purchase the books either separately or by getting the Philosopher’s Stone and Chamber of Secrets box set and then Prisoner of Azkaban separately.

That will change come to Septemeber this year where it is expected the new Harry Potter illustrated box set will become available. Feature all three illustrated versions, the box set is to hit stores sometime in Septemeber. Unconfirmed sources have it pegged as Septemeber 25.

Whether you will want to purchase the box set will be a possible dilemma. Many fans are thinking of waiting until all seven books have been completed, but with the “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire” illustrated version not expected until 2019 and the rest of the series not even thought of yet. It will be a long wait.

Personally, I am buying them separately but that’s just me.
