Dressing up for all things Harry Potter is still in fashion among fans

We all love to dress up like Harry Potter because we grew up doing it. So why shouldn’t we do so for Cursed Child and Fantastic Beasts?

Harry Potter has some of the most dedicated fans in the universe. Whether it is going to a midnight screening or going out of their way to get tickets for a play, the fans want to be a part of the magic. And for many, that includes dressing up.

I waited for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child tickets this week and as people were walking in with tickets, many were dressed up in robes. Which made me think about how we used to dress up for the premieres and how this isn’t exactly a weird thing.

Yes, if you don’t know for certain you’re going to get a ticket you might not want to wear a robe around New York City. But then again, it was just fun to see everyone so excited to live in the world of Harry Potter once again.

We haven’t really seen it with Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them but now that the first movie came out, maybe we’ll see more cosplays going to the movies! It just reminds us of the series that we love and know so well.

We feel connected in a fun way and it just puts us right into the magic. Maybe don’t go to Broadway with the Sorting Hat on your head but then again, do what makes you happy. It is a series we grew up with and to have it back in our lives is so special!

Next: Harry Potter and the Curse of the Cancellation Line for tickets

Do you like dressing up still? If so, show us some of your favorite cosplays! We love seeing fans dress up.
