Remind us why this isn’t Calrissian: A Star Wars Story again after this video

Lando Calrissian’s Millennium Falcon is way classier than Han Solo’s version, and Solo: A Star Wars Story’s latest preview video points that out.

Is it any surprise that Lando Calrissian’s version of the Millennium Falcon looks like the kind of place you’d want to spend some time in? Solo: A Star Wars Story has already shown bits of the Falcon as it exists in Lando’s time, but one fan recorded a video now being shown in theaters featuring Donald Glover taking us through parts of the ship set. (Thanks for finding it, Star Wars News Net!)

There’s no real new information to be had here, of course, but just watch Glover enjoy being on the Millennium Falcon.

Is anyone shocked that it’s literally called the “cape armoire”? There are fewer ways to make a storage room for capes sound fancy. If Lando knows anything, it’s how to make things sound a little fancier.

On top of that, though, it seems as though Solo is finally starting to get some promotional attention outside of the trailers released online and the standees that Ron Howard has been tweeting photos of. It seems impossible to find someone who wouldn’t be aware of Solo‘s release, but seeming isn’t the same as fact.

Unfortunately, the fact that this promo is focusing on Glover makes us all the sadder that this movie isn’t just Calrissian. Wouldn’t it be much more interesting to have Han have an almost antagonistic role to Lando’s anti-hero? That’s probably how Solo will play out, but we’ve seen that before in The Empire Strikes Back before Lando’s unequivocally good turn in Return of the Jedi.

Meanwhile, Han has always had a bit of the scoundrel about him, even shooting first, but seeing him coming in and basically ruining Lando’s day by taking away the Falcon?

After all, Lando seems to have some real affection for the ship…

Next: Why might there be more Solo films?

We’ll just have to see how it all plays out in Solo on May 25.
