Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them: What we know

Soon we’ll know more about Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. But in the meantime, here is what we do know about the upcoming sequel.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them: The Crimes of Grindelwald is coming out this year and what do we know about it? Well…not much. Like most things Harry Potter, they’re trying to keep it under wraps.

We know that our favorite characters from the first film have returned, we know that Jude Law is the ever amazing Albus Dumbledore and we know that Johnny Depp is still Grindelwald. Zoe Kravitz is joining as Leta Lestrange and, somehow, Creedence Barebone is back.

But other than, there isn’t much to tell. Sure, we know they’ll go to Hogwarts and that it is set in Europe but that isn’t exactly new or really that interesting. Much like most of the franchise, they want fans to be surprised when they go and see the film.

It is honorable but it also makes us fear what we’re getting ourselves into. There has already been so much controversy with this movie that now, since we don’t really know what is going on in it, we don’t really feel the need to rush out and see it.

I know personally I’ll be there opening night because I love all things Harry Potter but there are fans who aren’t too excited about the sequel. Hopefully, once we get a new trailer and more promo for it, fans will get more on board. In the meantime, we’ll just have to wait and see what they give us!
