Shadowhunters season 3 episode 6 preview: A Window Into An Empty Room

There’s nothing standing between Lilith and her Owl anymore, and he could wreak some serious havoc. Here’s what’s going down on Shadowhunters this week.
The Owl is back on Shadowhunters this week, and he’s more focused than ever.
Here’s where we left off: Jace has just taken a sip of what can only be called an anti-love potion. It’s meant to erase any feelings he ever had for Clary, so she can’t break him from Lilith’s hold.
Whether it will actually work remains to be seen; he could still fall in love again at the sight of her. At least, that’s what Clace fans are hoping for. But Clary may not even be aware of what’s happened this week. She’s off on a mission.
Here’s the official synopsis from Freeform:
"Clary teams up with Magnus to investigate a recent demon attack. Simon is stunned with he’s visited by someone he never thought he’d see again, and who now won’t seem to leave. Meanwhile, Izzy worries about dinner with her family and a special guest and Luke reaches out to Maryse. (Guest starring Anna Hopkins and Chai Hansen)"
Could that special guest be Dr. Charlie? His first date with Izzy went well (until Lilith’s demon cut in) but it’s a little early to be meeting the family. It’d be especially awkward since Izzy missed the last dinner with Maryse, and doesn’t know that her mother is being stripped of her runes.
Unfortunately, Magnus probably won’t be at this dinner if he’s off with Clary. But those two rarely get scenes together; Shadowhunters is doing a great job of mixing up the teams this season.

Noticeably missing from this week’s synopsis is Jace himself. After unwittingly drinking Lilith/Magnus’s concoction, he’s ready to do even more damage. And with everyone else preoccupied, Jace will have plenty of room to do so.
