Sebastian Stan won’t entertain your weird question about smells
Don’t ask Sebastian Stan weird questions in an interview. Or maybe do because his sassiness is certainly something to see.
Sebastian Stan is one of our favorite people to watch get interviewed. With the press tour for Avengers: Infinity War in full swing, that hasn’t really changed. What was great, though, was watching him breakdown slightly at a question that he didn’t understand.
The question at hand? What his costume smelled like on the last day of filming. Now look, Sebastian is typically down for whatever weird things an interviewer throws at him. Remember when that man who plays a stereotypical Italian made him the stoned soldier? This time though, he wasn’t ready.
It started innocently enough, a woman asked what the costume smelled like, and Winston Duke and Anthony Mackie were silent. Sebastian, on the other hand, wasn’t going to lamely answer it. He continually asked her why she would want to know that. Then, Anthony finally said the more important question, which was “What’s your next question?”
It wasn’t filled with malice or anything. Actually, it was quite funny. The interviewer, I don’t think, understood their confusion, but it was great watching the three men look at her like she’d grown a third head.
Because really, who wants to know what those costumes smell like? They film in Atlanta in the summer, and it isn’t nicknamed “Hotlanta” because there’s a nice breeze. It is okay, though. because Mackie made sure we knew that it was, in fact, Sebastian’s who probably smelled the worst.

While you can’t smell him, you can definitely see Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes in Avengers: Infinity War coming out April 27. Maybe they’ll make one of those scratch and sniff cards with the scent of his costume for this interviewer. But personally, I don’t think anyone really wants to know the answer to that question.
