Someday we’ll get to read Harry Potter to our kids but what does that mean?

Harry Potter and his friends are the reason many of us are still here today. So what is it going to be like reading this series to our kids?

To many Harry Potter fans, we dream of the day that we can share this series with our children. But have we ever really stopped and thought about what that is like? The series, which has been one of the great loves of our lives, gets dark quite quickly.

When we were growing up, this series was still being created. So we aged with Harry. We were thirteen when he was and we understood what was going on. Now that the series is complete, it is a little harder to space it out accordingly.

On top of that, we all have such an emotional connection to the series, it is going to be amazing to actually share it with our own kids. Even getting to show my niece has been an experience and she is still too young, she has just gone to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

But the point of this isn’t to show how hard it is going to be but rather how important it will be to pass on this story. For many, this was our children. We grew up anxiously awaiting these books and wanting to get lost in this world.

To get to share that with our children, take them on this journey that we did? There’s nothing like it. Sure, there are other series we could also include with this same mindset but we have this connection, for the Harry Potter generation at least, that won’t ever fade.

Potter fans are some of the greatest fans in the world and I personally can’t wait to share this series with my own children so they can be a part of the magic too.
