KEO MOTSEPE, JENNIE FINCH DAIGLE

Jennie Finch and Keo Motsepe

On a slightly sad note, Jennie Finch is Keo Motsepe’s first partner who is under 40 since season 22, when he partnered with Jodie Sweetin. That alone should mean they’ll get a little further. Additionally, although Jennie Finch comes from a lesser-known sport (softball), she does happen to have two Olympic medals, and she’s probably the best-known softball player in the States still. Besides, softball requires a lot of flexibility, so she should have an advantage there.

JOSH NORMAN, SHARNA BURGESS

Josh Norman and Sharna Burgess

Not that Josh Norman has an advantage solely by being paired with Sharna Burgess, but it sort of seems like he has a slight advantage just because he’s her partner. She has a knack for making some pretty decent dancers out of her partners — or at least getting far into the competition with them.

When it comes to football players, they usually have a tendency to go far anyway, and Norman, thanks to his cornerback skills, might just have some excellent hands. Keep an eye on these two.

TONYA HARDING, SASHA FARBER

Tonya Harding and Sasha Farber

Tonya Harding’s time on DWTS could go one of two ways. On the purely competitive side of things, she apparently still figure skates regularly, and she was always known for her power when it comes to her time on the ice. So, athletically speaking, she has a lot to offer.

Now, how the audience feels about her might depend basically on whether or not they’ve seen I, Tonya.

Of the athletes here, she’s probably the biggest wildcard, and that’s fascinating.
