Luke Cage and Black Panther

Look, hate all you want on Luke Cage’s classic look, but anyone who’s willing to rock those yellow boots and bring a little chain to get the full effect is photo-worthy in my book. Meanwhile, Black Panther was also ready to strike a pose.

Where’s a villain to fight when you need one?

Loki, Black Widow and Thor

A classic Thor appeared with a Ragnarok-era Loki and a Winter Soldier-era Black Widow. There are very few who can nail the flowing locks of the Asgardians, but these two certainly did. Meanwhile, their Black Widow companion dropped right down into a classic pose to complete the set. I wouldn’t like to take any of them on!

The Man in Black/Daredevil

Did you start humming the Daredevil theme upon seeing this photo? This writer never saw any people dressed up in the classic red costume, but she did see the Man in Black, complete with his weapons of choice and properly blindfolded, though I do believe he had to pull it on for the photo and the pose.

Basically, it was a pretty Daredevil-heavy weekend for this writer, what with Charlie Cox’s appearances on Sunday, but I’m definitely okay with that.

(And hey, though I did spot a few Jessica Joneses and a Luke Cage or two, I didn’t spot an Iron Fist, which basically cements my opinions on which Defenders are worth paying attention to.)

Doctor Strange

Doctor Strange was actually quite the popular choice — but he has a relatively simple costume, all things considered, when it comes to accessories needed. You don’t need a shield or armor, just the Eye of Agamotto and the Cloak of Levitation.

Of course, a willingness to pose also helps.
