A fun look at all your favorite Harry Potter characters using Facebook to interact with one another.
When Harry Potter was first published in the UK in 1997, 98 in the US, Facebook didn’t exist. By the time Facebook came along in 2004, we were on book five of the Harry Potter series and the third movie of the franchise.
So understandably Facebook never appeared in the Wizarding World. To be fair, not much muggle technology ever did. Not that they really needed it but being able to e-mail would have been much easier to send a message to someone rather than an owl. But hey that’s a debate for another day. Could you imagine if Mr Weasley ever discovered Google, by the way, he would completely lose it?
