Finally the time has come, C.B Strike is coming to Cinemax this June 1!

We’ve been waiting for the Cormoran Strike television series to come our way and now C.B Strike still hit Cinemax this June 1. And we’re excited!

Cinemax is planning to air C.B Strike this coming June 1. The BBC drama follows along with the Cormoran Strike series that J.K Rowling wrote under her penname. Fans all over the world fell in love with the mystery and the intrigue of the series before ever knowing that the Harry Potter creator herself was behind it.

For the last year, news of the series has been circulating around the internet and now we finally have a date on when we can see it! Robert Galbraith, her penname, created a three book series and the show is following the story.

Strike, who is a private detective, was a war veteran who now must solve complex crimes. Starring Tom Burke and Holliday Grainger, the series has fans anxiously awaiting on the edge of their seats. Granted, we still have quite some time until we’ll see the show.

But the idea of having more Rowling material is enough for Potter fans. Anymore, we just want our favorite author to continue to give us work and let us appreciate her skill. Even if she goes under the name Robert Galbraith rather than just writing the Cormoran Strike series under her own name.

Maybe it was so she’d be taken more seriously or maybe there was another reason for the penname. Whatever the case may be, we’re happy that she wrote the books and we can’t wait to see what the television show gives us!
