Solo: A Star Wars Story’s first Funko Pop is an exclusive that probably shouldn’t be out there yet

Even though Star Wars does pretty well about keeping things secret, sometimes toys make their way out into the wild, and it’s now happened with Solo.

Warning: If you want to know absolutely nothing about Solo: A Star Wars Story aside from what’s officially released, then this is not the story for you.

Solo: A Star Wars Story will have a pile of Funko Pop figurines to help Star Wars fans bulk up their collections. That was never really in doubt, especially not after the massive line The Last Jedi received.

However, as with Finn and Rose in their First Order disguises from The Last Jedi, a Pop! reveal can tell you a little something about the movie in which the character appears or what they might be doing in that movie.

That appears to be the case with this Pop! from Solo, which made its way onto r/StarWarsLeaks recently:

Granted, it’s not a lot to go on. Han appears to be wearing that same fur coat that he has on in the trailer. It’s the goggles that intrigue us here. They could be as simple as goggles for some high-speed piloting. However, he’s not wearing those goggles in the chase from the trailer, either.

Additionally, another toy leak recently showed Chewbacca wearing goggles, too:

Whatever it is, it seems safe to assume that Han and Chewie are together in a place where they may need to blast their way out that’s also probably cold (hence Han’s coat). Perhaps it’s just that this is where Han and Tobias reunite, and Han’s first job is to go do whatever requires him to have goggles.

Either way, it does look like Funko has a solid collection lined up. We don’t expect to have just this one exclusive, either.
