Harry Potter exhibition gets some new features for the New York edition

The Harry Potter exhibition comes to New York soon and in honor of its arrival, some new features have been added.

Fresh off the success of the Harry Potter exhibition at the British Library in London celebrating 20 years since “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” was first published in the UK. The exhibition is moving to New York and in celebration of its arrival, they added a few new features.

Released by the New-York Historical Society. Harry Potter: A History of Magic is to include some of Brian Selznick’s illustrations that are to be included in the reissues of the Harry Potter novels later this year. Selznick has had illustrated for novels such as “Wonderstruck” and “The Invention of Hugo Cabret.”

Also to be included in the exhibition are the original drawings for the U.S. releases by Mary GrandPre. West End and Broadway production “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” costumes and models are also to feature.

Not open until October 5 this year. Tickets are only available to New-York Historical Society Members; members have had access since February 14.
