An R-Rated version of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets exists and it is not for the faint-hearted!

Harry Potter may have been created for kids but that doesn’t stop us adults reimagining our childhood heroes in a whole new light.

And that is exactly what has happened here as Reverse Ratings, a show that reimagines and recreates classic films in an animated parody form for different age groups, recreated Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets to the point it is R-Rated.

R-Rated Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

The episode in focus certainly deserves the r-rating. You realize this within the first few seconds as it begins with Harry at the Dursleys. Harry is thinking of ending his misery but the sudden appearance of Dobby throws him off.

What follows is iconic scene after iconic scene, twisted and moulded into an r-rated form. If you have ever seen the stop-motion animation show Robot Chicken, then you will know exactly what you are getting yourself into when I say it is fairly similar to that comedy series.

For those who have no idea what Robot Chicken is, imagine Family Guy or The Simpsons and turn up the level of adult humor by 10 and you are close. Simply put, you may want to screen test this before letting your kids watch it.

You can see it for yourself as Reverse Ratings added the episode to their Facebook page so we were able to share it here as well.
