Seeing the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child theater in New York City

You’d think that knowing Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is on Broadway would be enough but seeing the theater in person is really a different experience.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child has finally flown onto the New York stage. It came to Broadway and fans everywhere have been trying to get tickets to quite some time. Of course, it isn’t really easy but that isn’t stopping fans from falling in love with the cast and the production.

The real joy comes though from all the Harry Potter themed things around the city. When you get close to the theater, there are banners for the houses on the side but seeing the artwork for the show high and proud on the theater is a different thing entirely.

I didn’t know I would be emotional seeing Harry’s name up in lights but this show reminds us of all we, as fans, have been through. When you first see Harry Potter up in big letters, it is like we have all made it to Broadway.

Truly, it was a weird experience. I didn’t even see the show, just the banner. But that was enough to have me crying in the street because Harry is a part of us all. We grew up looking to him and his friends and going alongside them on their journey to defeat Voldemort.

This just feels like the next step in this series and it is so much fun to see fans new and old enjoying Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
