Black Widow

Who hasn’t watched Iron Man 2 and wanted to be Natasha Romanoff? Maybe I’m a little off here, because I want to be her but also fall in love with Bucky Barnes. Black Widow is one of those characters who is pretty awesome, and she doesn’t really have superpowers.

There are two members of the Avengers who are, arguably, just humans, and she’s one of them. Yes, she is an insanely talented spy and fighter, but, at the end of the day, she’s going to age and can get hurt much easier than her counterparts.

But that kind of makes her better in a way. She’s not one of those characters who can rip a car in half and be otherworldly. In fact, she’s an attainable goal for many of us to aim towards. Yeah, we’d have to be really good at somehow throwing our legs around someone’s head to take them down to the ground, but at least she’s human.

The problem with a lot of female characters is that they’re either magical beings or one-note. Natasha is neither of those things. She’s complex, witty, and one of the best spies around. To sum up, that’s why we love Black Widow.
