Valkyrie

Thor: Ragnarok gave us not only the greatest Thor movie yet, but it also gave us a new love in Valkyrie. On Asgard, there was an elite group of warriors known as the Valkyrie. When they were defeated by Thor’s sister in a vicious battle, only one remained.

She left and went to a planet run by Jeff Goldblum and became an alcoholic, but still, Valkyrie is easily the character that stole everyone’s hearts. She doesn’t take any nonsense from Thor, and she fights with the best of them, making her someone we all could relate to.

Once more, she is a character that has different layers to her. She’s not a Ginny Weasley who is just exceptionally good at everything. Valkyrie is hostile, she drinks a lot, and, really, the only person she seems to like right off the bat is Bruce Banner in his Hulk form.

But in the end, she is a good person who fights for Asgard and wants to help Thor, Loki and their makeshift crew in whatever way she can, because that is the way of the Valkyrie. Also who doesn’t want Tessa Thompson on their side in a fight? I’m just excited to see more of her in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in future movies.
