Avengers: Infinity War: 5 team-ups we want to see

Scarlet Witch and Doctor Strange

They might not have the same magical abilities, or at least not exactly, but Stephen Strange and Wanda Maximoff could have a lot to talk about. She doesn’t have the same hold on her powers as he seems to. Although he’s still pretty new to the sorcerous scene, he’s actually had a teacher. Whether or not all of his skills directly translate to Wanda’s abilities remains to be seen, but he could at least help her with some medication techniques.

Granted, trailers seem to indicate that Stephen will spend more time with the scientifically-oriented heroes, like Iron Man and the Hulk, in Infinity War. However, this could be a very long movie, which means that it’s not outside the realm of possibility.

Besides, who doesn’t want to see Scarlet Witch and Doctor Strange deliver a magical beatdown? The two of them could absolutely wreck someone. Sure, the doctor defeated Dormammu mostly by his manipulation of the Time Stone and sheer stubbornness, but it’s the former that matters more here.

And hey, can you imagine the two of them dueling Thanos to protect the Eye of Agamotto? Now there’s a fight that we’d absolutely want to see, even if it probably results in their defeat.
