Avengers: Infinity War’s final battle will take place in Wakanda

Wondering why Cap, Black Widow and Bucky Barnes are still in Wakanda in Avengers: Infinity War? It’ll be the setting for something huge.

Wakanda seems to have quite the importance in Avengers: Infinity War. According to Kevin Feige in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, T’Challa’s home will serve as the setting for the “third act” of the film.

The question now is: Does that mean we don’t see Captain America or Bucky Barnes until the end of the movie?

Last we saw from Black Panther, Bucky Barnes is in Wakanda to have Shuri try and fix the brainwashing Hydra inflicted upon him. With the final third of the movie (and final battle with Thanos) taking place in Wakanda, what does that mean for the start of the storyline?

As we’ve seen in the trailers, there is definitely some action happening in New York City. Peter Parker is on the side of a bus (presumably in Queens) and Tony Stark teams up with Stephen Stranger (who we know is stationed in Midtown).

So while this confirmation has fans of Black Panther and team Cap excited, it does bring up some worries. Are we only going to get a little bit of Steve Rogers before he meets his maker in the fourth Avengers movie? (It is still speculation that Steve Rogers is going to die. Nonetheless, we’d like as much of Steve as we can get.)

My biggest fear is that Avengers: Infinity War will go down a Justice League road and ruin this beautiful land that was created for us. Themyscria was ruined by Whedon/Synder making the Amazons look weak against Steppenwolf and I just don’t want the same thing to happen with Wakanda in Infinity War.
