Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD season 5 episode 11 preview: All the Comforts of Home

Welcome back to Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD! Have you missed it as much as I have? Did you watch as much of the Olympics as I did? I, for one, watched a lot of curling, but I’ll be happy when all of my shows return.

Agents of SHIELD left us on a fun cliffhanger. Our team reassembled the Monolith to take them back home, and are we quite sure everyone was in the room to make it back? Also, poor Deke, who finally redeemed himself, sacrificed himself to get our SHIELD team back to present day to stop this time loop … if it can even be stopped.

Here’s the official synopsis, courtesy of ABC:

"Coulson and team set out to rewrite the course of humanity’s fate, but they’re unaware that their efforts will dramatically change one S.H.I.E.L.D agent’s life."

Oh, the show is also quickly approaching the 100th episode mark. If you don’t follow the cast on Twitter (or at the very least, Clark Gregg), you’re missing out on some sweet fan art celebrating the occasion.

Plus, everyone keeps teasing how something big is going to happen in the 100th episode. Part of me feels like Daisy might die, but is the show willing to sacrifice its main character? Because you certainly can’t kill Coulson … again…

This week’s episode also ushers in the arrival of Dove Cameron’s mysterious new character. That’ll be a fun new addition. You may remember her from such films as Disney’s Descendants and its subsequent sequels.

She also voiced Spider-Gwen in Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors. I would be super excited if she happened to be playing Gwen Stacy on the small screen.
