Happy Birthday to the wonderful Georgina Leonidas who portrayed Katie Bell in Harry Potter!!!
Harry’s fellow Gryffindor Quidditch player is celebrating her 28th birthday today. Georgina Leonidas, who played Katie Bell in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 & 2.
The former Harry Potter actress, who is taking the stage by storm with her performance in Awful Auntie, is no stranger to the acting world. She featured in the hit comedy TV series, The Basil Brush Show. Appearing as Molly in the TV series, she featured in every episode of series 1 – 4 between 2002 and 2007.

Leonidas has moved into stage performances
After her time at Potter, she appeared in several TV and movies but has most recently been killing it on stage. She appeared as Belle in the stage production of Beuty and the Beast at the Theater Royal in London and appeared on the same stage in the production of Small Hours.
Most recently Leonidas has been involved in the theatre production, Awful Auntie as Stella. A stage adaptation of the children’s novel by comedian turned children novelist David Walliams. It tells the story of Stella Saxby, played by Leonidas, who is the sole heir to Saxby Hall. Her Aunt Alberta and giant owl, want nothing but to stop Stella from receiving the inheritance and in turn receiving it themselves.
The stage production has been on for some time now and has had received nothing but glowing reviews for both the entire production and Leonidas performance. Tours of the production are still ongoing and Leonidas is still performing.
