Ever wondered what Harry Potter anime would look like? [Video]
By Callum Gunn
It was only a matter of time before someone decided to make Harry Potter anime.
Harry Potter turned anime. It was bound to happen and you may have already come across some attempts of it before today, but all that matters is that Harry Potter anime is a thing.
Seeing all of our favorite Harry Potter characters turned into anime. A blend of hand-drawn and computer animation, most commonly associated with Japan, is a pretty strange thing, but it is still worth a watch.

Tokyo Otaku Mode uploaded the footage via their official Facebook page. Described as ‘The Harry Potter anime we’ve all dreamt of’ and ‘#bestAUever’. The furniture long clip is an intro style video introducing all the Harry Potter characters, now turned anime.
Everyone is there
Everyone is there in the clip. Harry, Ron and Hermione are there, not that they wouldn’t be, but also Ginny and the rest of the Weasley Siblings. Neville and Luna are there as well but so are some characters you wouldn’t initially think off.
Lee Jordon features in the intro along with Harry’s former Gryffindor Quidditch players, Katie Bell, Angelina Johnson and Alicia Spinnet. Parvati Patel and Lavender Brown also make an appearance. And don’t worry the Slytherin House has not been forgotten about, Crabbe and Goyle are there as is Draco and even Pansy Parkinson.

A strange addition, however, is the inclusion of James Potter, Sirius Balck, Remus Lupin and Peter Pettigrew. That is only the tip of the iceberg however when it comes to the strange additions as we have a younger version of Severus Snape, Bellatrix Lestrange and even a young Dumbledore. We won’t even get into the addition of the Hogwarts founders and Harry’s kids being in the video.
As it is as an intro we would imagine if someone ever decided to make an actual anime series based on this they would be flashing back and forth in time. You couldn’t exactly have Harry and James at Hogwarts together.
All in all, it’s a nice little clip showing what Harry Potter anime could be. The only criticism would be that some of the characters appear too generic and similar that it is difficult to tell them apart.
