Have you watched Katherine Waterston in Logan Lucky yet?

Star of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Katherine Waterston is one actress you don’t want to miss. Especially if you haven’t seen Logan Lucky.

Logan Lucky was the surprise tear-jerker from 2017 and Katherine Waterston had a role in it. Playing the friend from high school who gives Jimmy Logan (Channing Tatum) a shot for his wound.

The movie, which focuses on them stealing from the Charlotte Motor Speedway, is quite surprising. With twists you’d never really see coming, Katherine’s part isn’t exactly huge. But that doesn’t diminish her performance. She’d incredible in the scenes she is in and her character is a stand out because of the work she’s doing.

Traveling around in a medical van to help those who can’t help themselves, she doesn’t really have money to keep it afloat. So after Jimmy steals from the motor speedway, Sylvia (Katherine Waterston) gets a surprise envelop from him.

The movie is just a feel good story. With a scene that will have you sobbing over “Take Me Home, Country Roads” by John Denver, it is just one of those movies that you want to watch over and over again. And Katherine’s small part makes it all the more worth it.

Again, she isn’t a very big character but the work she does shines through in such a way that you remember her character and what she should for (which really is a testament to how amazing Katherine is in this movie).
