Two exciting additions to LeakyCon 2018

The official Harry Potter convention is getting two more exciting additions.
LeakyCon 2018 is still five-and-a-half months away, but has had two new additions to the lineup. While the event may be sold out (despite only four confirmed guests so far!), those who do have tickets will be on the lookout for any news on guests. One of those is especially important for both Potter and Snape fans.
Ellie Darcey-Alen, known as young Lily Evans in the movie franchise, has been confirmed to the guest lineup for the weekend. Stanislav Yanevski, who played Victor Krum, has also been added to the list. This has been after Percy Weasley’s Chris Rankin and a number of Wizard Rock bands have confirmed their attendance at the August event.

Yanevski was just recently with Oliver and James Phelps at the “A Celebration of Harry Potter” event this year. He also appeared on their podcast after the event, where the story of Yanevski “putting his foot in it” was shared. The three, along with Bonnie Wright and Tolga Safer, also reminisced about the fourth film; the first time one of the more focused-on good characters died.
LeakyCon 2018
While you may not have snagged tickets to the Dallas event, there is some awesome news. MuggleCast and PotterCast will share live podcasts throughout the weekend. They will have a range of panels and programming available throughout the weekend.
More guests are expected as we get closer to the weekend.

LeakyCon 2018 is one of the most exciting Harry Potter events of the year. This year’s at Dallas sold out within weeks. To make sure you get updates about future events, you’ll want to be added to the mailing list, which is possible direct from the LeakyCon website.
