Happy Birthday James and Oliver Phelps!!!

Better known as Fred and Geroge Weasley, James and Oliver Phelps, are celebrating their birthday today.

Everyone’s favourite twins and Weasley siblings have turned a year older today. James and Oliver Phelps, best known for playing Fred and George Weasley in the Harry Potter series, are now 32 years old.

From Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, James and Oliver’s acting debut was in Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone. Neither of them had any prior acting experience before auditioning for the role of Fred and George Weasley. They supposed skipped school in order to attend the audition and just on that action alone, you can see exactly why the two were perfect for the mischievous Fred and George.

The two brothers have remained busy after Harry Potter, both on and off the screen. Each has starred in their own separate productions and have starred together as brothers as well. Charity work has also been a large part of the brother’s life.

They opened up a specialist unit for the Teenage Cancer Trust in Birmingham and have been strong supporters of the charity ever since and have also been involved in various sporting charity events, hosting, etc.

They still have time to attend Harry Potter conventions and events across the world. In January 2014 both of them attended the Harry Potter Celebration in Orlando Florida with other Harry Potter cast and are regulars at other Harry Potter events.
