What if Harry Potter just showed Albus Back to the Future? Do you think that would keep him from messing with time and space?

When you think about the relationship between Harry Potter and Albus Potter, you probably think of that scene where they both say they wish they weren’t related to each other. While it is very indicative of the drama queen Harry that we know and love, there is something more important to discuss.

If Harry just showed Albus Back to the Future, I truly think that half of what happened in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child wouldn’t have come into fruition. Why? Because that movie shows us what happens when you start to mess with the past.

In the movie, Marty McFly goes back in time and almost is the cause of erasing himself from history (much like Albus). So if Harry had just spent some time with his son, sat down and showed him this 80s classic, we might not have had this issue.

I know that if some figure came to me telling me I had to go back in time and stop Cedric Diggory from dying, I’d have pause for concern because Back to the Future made it very clear that messing with time gets convoluted and I don’t want to be erased from history.

But clearly Harry had more important things on his mind. So I will stick to my theory that if Harry Potter just had some quality time with his kids, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child would never have happened.

You just have to show Albus Back to the Future, Harry. That’ll scare anyone from messing with history. That picture where Marty is slowing fading from existence will haunt my dreams for the rest of my days.
