Is Jamie Parker going to dye his hair to play Harry Potter again?
Jamie Parker, the man behind our hero, played Harry Potter on the West End. But is he going to dye his hair again for his Broadway turn as the Boy Who Lived?
The new Boy Who Lived, Jamie Parker, is a veteran of the stage. Formerly in History Boys, Jamie knows the stage. And more than that, he knows Harry and his friends! Coming over from the West End run of the show, Jamie Parker originated the role of Harry Potter in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
Now what was cool about the West End run was that he dyed his hair for the role. Normally very light haired, Jamie dyed his hair black to fit the image that we all have of Harry in our mind. But today, Broadway.com shared a video of the cast in preparation for the spring season.
The problem? Jamie’s hair is still light. Now, they still have some time before the show actually goes into previews but still, the question remains: is he going to dye his hair? Personally, I’d weirdly be okay with a blonder Harry Potter.
I think maybe it is because I never got my green eyed Harry in the movies so if they wanted Jamie Parker to keep his hair blonde, I’d be okay with it. And Jamie Parker is just a dreamboat so really anything he wanted to do would be okay with me!
