Everything Harry Potter unveiled at New York Toy Fair 2018

Check out everything Harry Potter that was unveiled at the New York Toy Fair 2018!!!

Every year the New York Toy Fair is the place to be. It is where the toy distributors and creators unveil their latest upcoming products for all of us toy enthusiast. It is the San Diego Comic Con of the toy world.

This year, Harry Potter related toys made a regular occurrence and there was plenty to look at and get excited about. Lego released announced Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts line up, Funko released a new line and Jakks Pacific released a game changer as well.

So let’s take a look at everything that was released during the New York Toy Fair that was Harry Potter related.

Lego

Lego was, as per usual, were the shining stars during the fair. They unveiled several new lineups for a bunch of different franchises. Star Wars was the most talked about the brand with the announcement of the upcoming Millennium Falcon Kessel Run model, in honor of the upcoming Solo: A Star Wars Story movie.

However, the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts announcement by Lego caused some excitement as well. They announced that a new line of Lego sets inspired by both Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts would be arriving later in the year and they gave everyone a first look at the Great Hall model set.

Funko

A new line of Rock Candy toys is on the way. They made the announcement during the Toy Fair and put all the details up on their blog.

The collection includes Harry, Ron, Dumbledore, Voldemort, Sirius and Neville. Voldemort and Dumbledore are probably the least unique out of all of them but Harry is clutching the prophecy ball; Neville the sword of Godric Gryffindor; Sirius in is Azkaban prisoner uniform and Ron in his Gryffindor Quidditch robes.

Jakks Pacific

The most unique Harry Potter toy to be unveiled during the fair was by Jakks Pacific. They unveiled Harry Potter interactive wands which allow the user to practice their spell casting. It uses motion sensor technology to monitor the user’s movement and only the correct sequence allows you to cast the spell. So you will need to swish and flick correctly. You are also able to play against another user as well making the fun double.

Next: An actual school of Witchcraft and Wizardry exists!!!

Overall it was a good year for Harry Potter at the Toy Fair. Plenty of new and intriguing toys unveiled that would satisfy the majority of Potter fans.
