Harry Potter themed shop is finally open for business in Glasgow

The huge journey that Harry Potter fans in Glasgow would undertake is no more as their very own store has opened its doors.

Before the opening of the Harry Potter themed shop, anyone in or around the city of Glasgow would need to make the long journey to Edinburgh in order to get some Wizarding goodies. Before the Edinburgh store was opened the journey was even longer as you need to travel to York, or even London, depending on what you were looking for.

Those dark days are now long gone however as the Harry Potter themed shop in Glasgow is now up and running. Based in West End’s Cresswell Lane, Clause 73 opened up for business on Saturday 17^th February.

It’s a small store but it’s certainly not lacking in the magical merchandise department. Filled from top to bottom you will find plenty of Harry Potter themed items to your liking.

The shop contains its very own Ollivander’s where you a choose your very own wand. Bath bombs and chocolates are on sale along with your usual items like jewellery, posters and bags. Potion lessons are also available but that won’t be for another few months.

Wendy and Kenny McDermott are the masters of this magical creation. They put so much time and dedication into creating the magical store that it has been given nod of approval from Warner Bros.

Glasgow has been desperate for their very own Harry Potter store ever since the opening of the Edinburgh based one and with the overall success of the Edinburgh Diagon Houses stores, it was only a matter of time before one in Glasgow arrived.
