Why we are all a little bit like Luna Lovegood in our real lives

When you think about relatable Harry Potter characters, Luna Lovegood is pretty high up there. Mainly because we’re all a little bit out there too.

Luna Lovegood is a character that you either love or relate to. Is there anyone who really doesn’t like her? I, at least, haven’t heard anyone hating her. She’s wonderful, quirky, and one of the best things that the Harry Potter series gave us.

The thing about Luna is that she just lives in her own world and while that isn’t the greatest thing, it relates back to many of us. That world? Well, it is the world that Harry and his friends exist in. We want to escape and we go to this world where Hogwarts is there to welcome us home.

So maybe it isn’t to the same extent but we at least can relate to Luna because she also just wants to live her life in this world she, seemingly, lives in herself. Maybe it’s because we’ve all lived in this world for so long that we have suddenly seen Luna Lovegood in a different light.

Maybe as we get older, we understand these stranger characters more because we remember the magic we felt reading this series. Yes, we thought she was weird at the start but then all it took was us to grow up to realize that we’re like her.

Luna is also just a wonderful character to look at and try to be like. She’s loyal, smart, and a wonderful woman who just wants to help her friends and be the best version of herself. So yeah, go out there and live your life like Luna!
