Black Panther: What does the post-credits scene mean for Avengers: Infinity War?

Worried about the after-credits scenes in Black Panther? Well, don’t be because the teaser for Avengers: Infinity War is definitely one you don’t want to miss.

Warning: Haven’t seen Black Panther yet? Then beware spoilers.

Everyone is talking about Black Panther, as they should be. But do you want to know what is absolutely incredible? The fact that Shuri is the smartest person in the MCU. On top of that, she seemingly is the one who fixes Bucky Barnes.

In an after credit scene that had me crying for joy, Bucky Barnes emerges from a hut in Wakanda looking like a Scottish Jesus. He stands looking out at the water as Shuri teases the kids who continually call Bucky “White Wolf.”

Shuri begins to ask Bucky how he feels and the scene ends with her taking him to resume his training. Meaning that she is the one who fixes him from the brainwashing HYRDA inflicted upon him. This is the second reference to Shuri fixing Bucky though.

In the movie itself, when T’Challa brings an injured Everett to Wakanda, Shuri exclaims that it is another broken white boy they have to fix, clearly referencing the fact that they had to fix Bucky Barnes.

The after credit scene is just wonderful for fans of Bucky. It is nice to see him doing well and not struggling with his mind and memories. He also rocks a half up, half down look in the movie so don’t worry, if you wanted to see a nice manbun, you got your wish.

Clearly the best part of Black Panther is the celebration of T’Challa and what he represents, but let us not forget how important it is that Shuri is, seemingly, the head of all the technological advances in Wakanda as well as someone who can easily fix years of HYDRA’s brainwashing.
