Spike and Buffy Summers — Buffy the Vampire Slayer
This relationship might not be the one that everyone rooted for, but Buffy and Spike were beautiful together, despite how weird it was when they started. I know, I know. Everybody always likes to think about Buffy’s perfect soulmate as Angel, but this curious matchup is really the better of the two. Spike never lost his soul during sex.
Even though they made a better couple, they were a pretty unconventional pairing. At first, it didn’t even seem like they liked each other, at all. They could barely stand to be in the same room together, and when they finally do finally sleep together, it seems more like they’re executing some grudge.

Spike gave Buffy something that she needed at the time, and obviously Spike fell madly in love with her. Duh. She’s the Slayer, after all.
They eventually break up because they just couldn’t overcome all their differences, but for a brief minute, they were Sunnydale’s hottest, most dysfunctional couple.
