J.K. Rowling Career of Evil TV adaptation initial trailer released

The TV adaptation of J.K. Rowling Career of Evil novel now has it’s very own trailer.

BBC has released the first official trailer for Strike – Career of Evil. It is the third novel in the Cormoran Strike series written by J.K. Rowling under the Robert Galbraith pen name. “The Cuckoo’ Calling” and “The Silkworm” being the two novels before it.

Both of the previous novels have been adapted for TV by the BBC, Strike – The Cuckoo’s Calling and The Silkworm. No announcement on release has been made but it is expected to be in the Summer of 2018. Now that the trailer has been released it is suspected that the release date will follow shortly.

Strike – Career of Evil

Both Tom Burke and Holliday Grainger are to feature. They will reprise their roles as Strike and Robin. J.K. Rowling is also involved in the project. She will be acting as executive producer, the same position which she held during the two previous adaptations of the novels.

The first two novels were adapted into the one TV series and released in the summer of 2017. It was then decided to renew the show for a second season based on the third novel. The story focuses on Private Investigator Strike and his assistant Robin.
