Crazy Ex-Girlfriend recap and review: Trent!?

This week on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Rebecca got a taste of her own medicine and she didn’t exactly like what she saw. In other words, Trent came back.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend loves a reprise and this week, that reprise was none other than Trent! That’s right, the creepy male version of Rebecca was back with more blackmail. He wanted Rebecca to be his girlfriend so he found her search on the deep dark web and was using it against her.

The problem with this is that they’re both lawyers and they know how much trouble Rebecca could get into for wanting to hire a hit on Mona, Nathaniel’s girlfriend. Meanwhile, Nathaniel is still trying to figure out what is going on with him and Rebecca.

So when Trent comes into work with Rebecca, he takes it as a sign she’s moved on and goes back with Mona. Basically, the entire episode is Rebecca being forced into things and losing what she really wanted.

The worst part though was when she lied to Paula to try and get her to help her. Paula didn’t want to become involved in another one of Rebecca’s crazy schemes and so Rebecca had to lie and tell Paula that Trent had dirt on her too.

I have a feeling that next week, we’re going to see exactly what happens when you lie to your friends but for now, Rebecca continues to tell Paula that it is okay and she shouldn’t worry. Maybe because Trent never had dirt on her in the first place and Rebecca was just being selfish.

In the end, Trent leaves, Nathaniel moves into another office to get away from Rebecca, and Paula still thinks there’s something out there that she did that could warrant her getting blackmailed again. It’s a fun time for everyone!

Oh, and Valencia and Josh do an amazing dance at a kids’ party that she planned.
