What if porgs were like the Harry Potter owls of the Star Wars universe?

Look we all like porgs. But what if they were seen like the owls in Harry Potter? Just imagine Luke Skywalker walking around with a porg on his arm like Hedwig!

Star Wars and Harry Potter have a lot in common. But could the porgs be a connection? In the universe of Star Wars, the porgs made an appearance on the island that Luke Skywalker escaped to. And one Twitter user posed a question.

What if Finn had a porg on his arm like Harry does with Hedwig in Harry Potter? Seems innocent enough, just a silly thought while watching Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi. But when you really start to think about it, it is quite funny.

So the porgs are not the smartest animals in the world. They’re pretty dumb and Chewbacca is eating them before he becomes friends with them. So to envision them as creatures meant to have any sort of job is incredible.

They’d be like a whole bunch of Errols running around and flying into glass. Or maybe they’d surprise us all and be super good and whatever jobs we’d give them. We’d just have to trust the porgs to see what they could and could not handle.

Too bad these two worlds couldn’t collide. Maybe if we all wish hard enough, the porgs will be in episode IX and they’ll be just like Hedwig and the other owls. Or they’ll continue to be kind of useless. We’ll just have to wait and see.
