Crazy Ex-Girlfriend recap and review: Oh Nathaniel, It’s On

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend was back this week and Rebecca showed us that she’s maybe back to her old tricks. That is, she tried to ruin Nathaniel’s life.

Rebecca and Nathaniel have quite the relationship on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and this week, it got even weirder. When Rebecca thinks she can just go back to work, no questions asked, she’s met by Nathaniel firing her.

Instead of going to her group and telling her therapist what is happening, she continues to lie about the hormones she’s using to help Darryl and doesn’t mention her plan to take down Nathaniel.

It seems a bit like Rebecca is going back to how she was before, which is unfortunate. I guess the good thing is that Nathaniel seems to like it? Because after they sue him and buy back his shares of the firm, Rebecca and Nathaniel work together and they end up sleeping together in their office.

Meanwhile, Heather is finally finding her place. She goes to the corporate offices of Home Base and ends up realizing that she really likes the company and wants to make each restaurant better. So she creates a position for herself and has Hector move in with her and Rebecca.

The episode was more about growth for Heather and Rebecca returning to her old ways. What do I think is going to happen next, though? Well, Rebecca is still pumped full of hormones so my fear is that now, since she’s apparently sleeping with Nathaniel repeatedly, she’s going to end up pregnant.

That wouldn’t be great for Rebecca’s mental health or her relationship with Nathaniel. But we’ll just have to wait and see what actually happens on the next episode of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.
