Even without little promotion and living a more private life nowadays, Taylor Swift still manages to chart well and succeed at what she does. She’s done with her past songs and she’s doing it now with her newest single “End Game”.
“End Game” has debuted on the Streaming Songs chart dated January 27 following the release of the music video on January 11. The song, featuring Ed Sheeran and Future takes No.30 with 14.2 million streams in the week ending January 18., according to Nielson Music.
The release of the music video helped the song jump from No.32 to No.18 on the Billboard Hot 100. It also continues to stay successful on the Digital Songs chart, selling 20,000 downloads and remains at no.16 on the Radio Songs chart for its second straight week. Many will say that Swift is no longer relevant but her sales and chart standings prove otherwise.
“End Game” is the next single from Swift’s sixth studio album reputation. It’s also the fifth song from the album to break into the Billboard Hot 100 and its fourth to make it to the top 20. The album as a whole has become Swift’s best worldwide debut, selling 1.3 million copies in its first week, and stayed No.1 on the charts for four consecutive weeks. It also became 2017’s bestselling album of the year.
