The ladies of the Harry Potter have always been important to the series. So we’re looking at some of our favorite character and their contributions.

Harry Potter has always been filled with powerful female characters. From Hermione Granger to Minvera McGonagall,  the ladies of the series have always been incredible influences for the young readers. For instance, do you know how many young girls embraced their love of reading because of Hermione?

And that’s not even the most important thing she did. Hermione is great for a whole number of reasons, honestly least of all her love of reading. She saved Ron and Harry multiple times, she was part of their trio and she was the brightest witch of her age.

McGonagall was one of the bravest people in the Harry Potter universe. She stood up to her coworkers and friends for what she believed in to keep her students safe. And that’s just once Voldemort had come to Hogwarts. She was awesome throughout the entire series.

Those two are not even touching Molly Weasley or Professor Trelawney or any number of the amazing women we saw throughout this series. Or even more importantly, the woman who wrote it herself. For many of us, this series made us the people we are today.

So we love these characters and what they mean to us now as adults even more so than when we were kids. We love to talk about them and their importance but can you blame us? They’re the best ladies out there and we were lucky to have them!
