Could 2018 be the year we finally fulfill our New Year’s resolutions? Petco thinks so. They’ve come up with a program so you can work out with your dogs.

Your workouts are about to get a whole lot furrier. Petco just announced that they’ve come up with a plan to incorporate your pets to your New Year’s resolution. And who could make a better workout partner than your dog?

If you’re looking to get fit, then just get a dog. Even taking them on their walks and playing with them will get you up and moving around.

But now you and your dogs can take things to a whole new level. Petco partnered with fitness and nutrition expert Anna Victoria to come up with a series of workout circuits that you can do with your pup, which are tailored towards your dog’s size and energy levels, and your goals. So you and your pup will be working your tails off in no time.

The program was actually inspired by Victoria’s own dog Rigatoni, and she believes “there’s no doubt pet parents will find reasons to get excited about exercises they can tackle with a work out partner that never cancels, never complains and always stays motivated.”

Some exercises include something as simple as fetch or tug-a-war, walking, hiking, or running, or something more fun and complicated like agility or surfing. Then, of course, there’s yoga. There’s nothing cuter than a dog doing downward-facing … them.

And dogs would make the best workout partner. They’re always there and never judge. And they just want to have fun and make those hard, tedious workouts not so ruff.

Plus, have you seen videos of people working out with their dogs? I thought my dog was smart and did some good tricks until I saw some of those. Now it’s pretty much my dream in life for me and Ruby to be like this:

Now there’s no excuse to not fulfill those New Year’s resolutions. You don’t want your dog getting lazy, do you?
